A Biographical Sketch of Nathan M. Meyer

Dr. Nathan Meyer is a native of Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. He lived in Salem, Virginia. Dr. Meyer was born in November 1917, and died in May of 2000 at the age of 82.

He had been a public school teacher, school principal, farmer, businessman, pastor, seminary professor, author, evangelist, and a Bible teacher specializing in Bible prophecy.

He held a B.S. in Education from Elizabethtown College, and B.D. and Th.M. degrees from Grace Theological Seminary. In 1977, the Western Graduate School of Theology conferred the Litt.D. degree upon him.

He served on the faculty of Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana from 1955-59 and since that time had been much in demand for Prophetic Bible Conferences in many churches throughout the United States.

He had conducted 6 tours to Russia, 1 to China, many to Europe and over 100 tours to the Bible Lands of Israel and Arab countries.

In 1953, he was invited to tea by Mrs. David Ben Gurion and later interviewed her illustrious husband, Israel's famous first Prime Minister.

In later years, Dr. Meyer had not only preached from coast to coast, but had also traveled many thousands of miles in ministry with missionaries from Africa to Hawaii.

Dr. Meyer had written several books, and had been associated with the search for Noah's Ark and the chariots of Pharaoh in the Red Sea. He has also participated in several archaeological digs for the Ashes of the Red Heifer and the Golden Ark of the Covenant.
